Find the right WICRESETPRO procedure for your Canon printer. Depending on the model, the application provides counter readings, waste ink counter reset, EEPROM reports, print-quality tests and maintenance tools. Connect the printer by USB and use the preparation mode required for the selected operation.
Start with your exact model
Enter the full Canon model in Printer Finder. The result shows a supported-printer status and the available options. A model can support diagnostics or cleaning even when a waste ink counter reset is not available. Readable counters and resettable counters are marked separately.
USB and service mode
Canon service procedures use a USB cable. A printer's Wi-Fi connection for normal printing does not replace this service connection. Some operations require service mode; WICRESETPRO includes the instructions for the relevant model. Open the Canon service-mode guide and select your exact model. Use its assigned procedure, including any stated preparation and checks.
Read, reset and check the result
Read the available counters or EEPROM report first. Where the model supports a reset, one reset operation handles the counters defined by its profile and performs a control reading afterwards. An absorber warning and a full-absorber error may represent different stages; follow the message and procedure documented for your model.
Diagnostics and print quality
Supported options can include test prints, nozzle checks, standard and deep head cleaning, EEPROM reports and error-code reading. The exact set belongs to the selected printer. Find the relevant instructions before choosing a procedure, and see ServiceToolPro for the wider function catalog.
WICRESETPRO is available in 60 interface languages. Our team provides help 24/7 by email and WhatsApp; include your printer model and, for purchase questions, your order number.
Keys and support
For the supported waste ink reset offer, unused keys have no expiry date. After the first reset, the key can be reused on the same printer for 24 hours. Buy directly from the WICRESETPRO developer, with package prices shown by the shared store calculator.
One short maintenance note: An electronic reset does not replace physical absorber maintenance.
Questions and answers
Can I reset a Canon waste ink counter over Wi-Fi?
Canon service procedures in WICRESETPRO use a USB cable. Use USB even if the printer normally prints over Wi-Fi.
Does every Canon model offer the same functions?
No. The available options depend on the model and firmware. A supported printer may offer diagnostics and maintenance without offering a waste ink counter reset.
Is service mode required for every action?
Use the mode requested by the specific operation. The application provides instructions when the procedure requires service mode; do not copy a button sequence from a nearby model.
Can I read a counter that cannot be reset?
Some models expose values for reading without supporting a corresponding reset. WICRESETPRO distinguishes these cases so that a readable value is not mistaken for a resettable counter.
Is the free 80% trial available for Canon?
The free reset to 80% is an Epson trial. For Canon, check the supported reset operation and the corresponding key offer.
