Read, reset and verify Epson L313
- Use the connection offered for your printer and operation. Select the exact model detected in WICRESETPRO.
- Read the available waste ink counters in WICRESETPRO and wait for a completed result. A missing reading is not a zero reading.
- Waste ink counter reset is supported for this model. Select that operation and follow its preparation instructions in the app.
- For a supported full reset, enter your valid Pro reset key and start the operation. Keep the connection stable until the app reports the result.
- Restart only when instructed, then read the counters again in Pro to verify the outcome.
Once a supported printer is connected and ready, the reset itself can take about a minute. Installation and preparation can take longer.
Resetting a counter does not replace physical absorber maintenance.
Your reset key
Unused keys do not expire. After the first reset, you can reuse the key on the same printer for 24 hours. Unused units in a Multi-Key pool do not all expire when that printer’s reuse period ends.
Choose one Multi-Key with the purchased pool or the corresponding number of separate codes. Check the current product, price and currency in the store.
For the wider application feature set, see printer diagnostics and maintenance in WICRESETPRO. Functions shown there are model-dependent.
Questions and answers
Why “Service required” returns soon after reset?
Heavy cleaning or intensive printing quickly raises the counter.
Will an external tank help?
An external tank does not reset the counter or establish the condition of the absorber. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions; do not modify the waste ink system based only on a general guide.
Can I downgrade firmware to reset?
Compatibility depends on the exact model, firmware and operation. Do not assume a future firmware release is supported or change firmware as a substitute for diagnosing a counter problem.
Do trial keys fully unlock?
The free Epson trial sets eligible waste ink counters to 80%. At least one supported counter must be above 95%, and server approval is required. Use a valid reset key for a full reset to zero.
Can I move the printer during reset?
Avoid movement; keep USB stable until done.
