Symptoms

  • Printer stops and LEDs blink.
  • Error: Error E11, Service required.
  • Waste ink counter shows nearly 100%.

Why does Epson L3263 show “Service required”?

This message is triggered by a counter, not real ink measurements. When it reaches the limit, Epson L3263 locks. Resetting the counter with WICRESETPRO clears the error.

Read, reset and verify Epson L3263

  1. Use the connection offered for your printer and operation. Select the exact model detected in WICRESETPRO.
  2. Read the available waste ink counters in WICRESETPRO and wait for a completed result. A missing reading is not a zero reading.
  3. Waste ink counter reset is supported for this model. Select that operation and follow its preparation instructions in the app.
  4. For a supported full reset, enter your valid Pro reset key and start the operation. Keep the connection stable until the app reports the result.
  5. Restart only when instructed, then read the counters again in Pro to verify the outcome.

Once a supported printer is connected and ready, the reset itself can take about a minute. Installation and preparation can take longer.

Resetting a counter does not replace physical absorber maintenance.

Your reset key

Unused keys do not expire. After the first reset, you can reuse the key on the same printer for 24 hours. Unused units in a Multi-Key pool do not all expire when that printer’s reuse period ends.

Choose one Multi-Key with the purchased pool or the corresponding number of separate codes. Check the current product, price and currency in the store.

Questions and answers

Does reset remove Error E11?

Read the complete message in its original context and the available counters. A supported waste ink reset addresses the relevant counter-limit condition. It does not repair paper-feed, cartridge or network faults; the same short code can mean something different on a network report.

Are pads physically full?

The counter estimates waste ink use; it does not measure the physical condition of every pad. Inspect and service the absorber as required. Resetting the electronic counter does not clean or replace it.

Can I reset via Wi-Fi?

Epson counter reading and reset are available on Windows 10/11 x64, macOS 14+ (Intel or Apple Silicon) and Android, over USB, or Wi-Fi/LAN where the printer hardware and network setup support it. Additional service functions have their own requirements.

How long will reset last?

The counter increases again as maintenance ink is produced. Its next service point depends on use and cleaning, not a guaranteed number of pages. This is separate from the key’s 24-hour reuse period.
